Dr. Shingleton has been performing surgery and teaching cataract surgical techniques for over 25 years. Ophthalmologists travel from around the
world to learn his technique of small incision phacoemulsification cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation. He
is supported by a superb team of optometrists, fellows-in-ophthalmology, board certified anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists,
nurses, and ophthalmic and surgical technicians. They support Dr. Shingleton in the care of each patient, but Dr. Shingleton performs all the surgeries.
